Notably, the service runs <strong>two mobile mammography clinics on wheels<\/strong>, fully equipped to bring convenient diagnostic options right to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alberta women aged <strong>45 to 74<\/strong> qualify for a free mammogram every two years. If you are 45 to 74, you\u2019re automatically enrolled in the screening program. Once you turn 50, if you have never had a mammogram in Alberta, you\u2019ll receive an invitation to schedule a screening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can get an AHS Breast Cancer Screening Program mammogram at locations including the <strong>Arthur JE Child Oncology Center<\/strong>, Chinook Regional Hospital, Cross Cancer Institute, Foothills Medical Centre, Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, the North Pavilion at the Holy Cross Centre, Kingsway Mall, University of Alberta Hospital, Northern Lights Regional Health Centre, and Peace River Community Health Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Insight_Medical_Imaging\"><\/span><strong>Insight Medical Imaging<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.edmontonka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/52\/2025\/03\/ad_4nxdnj6xtgz-mw6nh3tkhpq08-6kqo6m9anyu5hgnapjlf1inygxzaipjxsh0wtz_oqklz7bjqzgpdro-_jnjd4w8hlor9y7yqliqv47ymsb6t-ha1x3ql5euvlvqy76rukjpmrodkeyuiw5kevysz9a7cxwaisggldy.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Insight Medical Imaging<\/strong> provides a full spectrum of diagnostic services for various breast conditions, including ultrasound, nuclear medicine, MRI, and biopsy. This may cause slight discomfort, but it\u2019s crucial for an accurate image. If you have very sensitive breasts, it\u2019s recommended to schedule at least a week before your menstrual cycle. Any discomfort ends right after the procedure.
